Midtown’s history is long and varied.
Activities at Midtown go back to when it housed the Bruns Army hospital and barracks during World War II. For many decades after it became the College of Santa Fe , then the University of Santa Fe Art and Design which closed in 2018. The rebirth of Midtown began in 2025 when Aspect Media Village began development on the southern end of the campus where the Innovation Hub is also located.
